URGENT - FROM THE ORGANISING COMMITTEE REGARDING NSW STATE TITLES

With the weather determined to keep our grass arenas too wet to jump on, the organising committee has surrendered to not being able to run the State Titles in Canberra.

ACTSJC, JNSW and ENSW are all determined to do our best to run state titles this year, we do not want to lose the show for the third year in a row. With this in mind the decision has been made to move the event to Willinga Park, keeping the same weekend and run it over three days; Friday 14th October to Sunday 16th October.

The event will be condensed to two rings with all classes previously advertised running except the 80cm classes and the warmup 1.20m class from the Thursday.
Willinga Park offers fantastic surfaces, excellent rider facilities and stabling. With those facilities there will be some extra costs for competitors.
• Stabling costs remain the same however riders will need to separately purchase sawdust at $16/bag.
• The stable bond will increase from $75 to $150 per stable.
• Camping will increase to $150 for 3 nights at Willinga from $105 at EPIC.
• Height Classes will increase by $5 per round.

We are offering this event for the riders, if there are insufficient numbers entered to make the event viable, the event will be cancelled. It is our aim to be able to make a call on the event from a financial perspective on Monday morning.

Note, there is still the risk of adverse weather impacting the event over the three days forcing cancellation.

The current event and stabling will be cancelled in global, and all entries refunded. A further email will be distributed with the new process for entries for sponsors and those with EEC’s. It is hoped all sponsors will continue to support the event.

Fingers crossed for the week ahead.
