Equestrian NSW Constitution Review

Equestrian NSW is keen to follow up on recent feedback about its Constitution.  In particular, the Board wants to provide an environment where members are engaged and have a strong say in how our organisation is governed.  Potential areas for improvement include, but are not limited to:

• Board nominations
• Review and recommendations from a Board Nominations Committee
• Voting proxies for meetings
• Electronic voting
• Voting scrutineering
• Discipline and dispute resolution processes

Members are invited to provide their comments and suggestions about how the Constitution can be improved.  Submissions will be considered by the Board, with proposed amendments provided to members, for consultation, before our Annual General Meeting, which will be held on Thursday, 29 October 2015.  A formal notice will be emailed to members 21 days before the meeting.

All submissions should be emailed to Bruce Farrar at [email protected]  by close of business on Monday, 7 September 2015.
