The first day of the Summer Classic is the Young Horse Gala Day and once again Alice Cameron from Oaks Sport Horses who is again sponsoring and supporting this wonderful exhibition of horses born and breed in Australia as well as horses that are carefully selected and imported to our shores. The Young Horse classes are also judged on their style. The winners of the style section will be paraded on Saturday of the show before the World Cup and the winner will take home a service of their choice to either Oaks Quizzical or Casting.
The Young horse classes will be followed by the Group 1 TSHA Thoroughbred class sponsored by Peachester Lodge. All classes in the ENSW arena on Thursday will be livestreamed by Clipmyhorse.TV and Equestrian Life.
If you are able to attend the show you will also be able to watch the action in the Magic Millions arena. Starting the day with the Magic Millions 1.30m class followed by the Jumping NSW Welcome Stakes for 1.40m horses and finishing the day with the ENSW 1.20m class.
Friday the second day of Summer Classic will host a big day of classes in the Magic Millions arena.
Starting at 8am the 1.30m open Height class and Winning Group Futurity Qualifier will get the day rolling with a host of top young horses showing their skill and potential. Followed by the Magic Millions 1.45m – 1.50m Open height class where some of our World Cup contenders will be having a good practice run for the following day.
The Equestrian NSW Mini Prix Qualifier is always a great class to watch with those horses who are working their way up to the top level of competition.
The day will round out with the Young Rider Qualifier sponsored by Leading Edge Professional Development.
The ENSW Arena begins the day with the 1.10m open height class and the TSHA Group 2 class sponsored by Peachester Lodge.
Then our young Rising Stars qualifier sponsored by Willow Wood Stables take to the arena to see if they can qualify for the Final on Sunday, where this year they will jump in the main arena.
The day will close with the 1.20m open height class.
This year the ENSW competition arena will be in Arena 12 which has been resurfaced and is a quieter arena for the younger horses.
Day three Saturday
Jumping NSW Magic Millions Summer Classic, Saturday day three, is always one of the most anticipated days of the sport of showjumping in Australia, when we will see a quality field of horses and riders take on the Chatham Park Grand Prix World Cup Qualifier CSI-W*.
This event is scheduled to start at 2pm and will be livestreamed by ClipMyHorse.TV and Equestrian Life.
The lead in classes to the World Cup will see the Super Junior Qualifier sponsored by Redleaf Lodge kick off the day’s activities at 9am followed by the final of the Stal Tops Australian Young Rider Series final. The series winners will be announced at the conclusion of this class.
So while our Course Design and Ring Crew Team set about building the World Cup course the winners of the Young Horse Style competition will be paraded with the Champion of Champions being announced. The Champion of Champions will win a stallion service choice of Oaks Quizzical or Casting.
The Equestrian NSW arena will host the Thoroughbred Sport Horse Association Godolphin Lifetime Care Slipper series and
Peachester Lodge Group 3 Thoroughbred classes along side the 90cm sponsored by Dubbo Eventing & Showjumping Association
1m & 1.10m height classes.
